School choice is the freedom to choose a school that best suits your child’s unique needs.

What is School Choice?

Choices in education look different across Oklahoma.  In urban and suburban communities, parents may choose a public charter school, traditional public school, private school, or faith-based school.  In more rural areas, many parents are most familiar with their traditional public school district.  However, other school options like virtual school or homeschooling can occur in every community.

Whatever the case may be, we believe parents should be empowered with good information about the school options in their community, and how to advocate for more education options.

What are ESAs?

Educational Savings Accounts (ESAs) use a portion of a state tuition support and deposit that money into an account which parents control and can spend on multiple, defined uses, including private school tuition, tutoring, and online education and more.  Any money not used each year can be saved for future education expenses, including college.
